“Starburst Necklace” 3.75″ x 2″ x .25″ Price Range: $330 – $6200 . My jewelry is hand made with hollow pod shapes, oxidized sterling silver, high karat gold along with natural stones and stainless steel wire. It is light and comfortable to wear, a consideration I take when I create each piece. I am drawn to the relationship between the metal, stones, movement and form, and how they transform the wearer.

“Grimms Saloon” 48″x90″ Price Range: $1,200-$7,700 The artist begins each piece by preparing the background with a collage of maps, sheet music and vintage posters. The collage begins to tell the story of the individual work. The collage is then white washed to create a high contrast area for the drawing. A loose pencil sketch then covers the entire drawing plane, followed by pen and ink. Loose graphite is used for the shading. Heavy body ink or acrylic is used to draw shapes or add a pop of color.

“2 Heirloom Pears in Bronze” 5″x3″x3″ Price Range: $125-$1,500 As an artist I create beautifully-resolved bronze objects. These small hand-held works include organic forms (seed pods), fresh and decaying fruits (pear, peppers), human artifacts (fabric hats, cloth shoes, baskets, tools or ornaments) and unique sculptural forms (boats, vessels). Each piece celebrates the transformation of fragile impermanent materials into everlasting bronze where forms are celebrated for their archetypal resonance. Designed to the scale of the human hand, each form becomes a distilled sculptural object that rekindles essential pleasures of touch with the unexpected weight of the bronze.

“Appliquéd Textile Caps in Cast Bronze” 7″x7″x7″ Price Range: $150-$5,000 The forms I make involve transformation. Original baskets made of split bamboo or hand sewn hats and shoes are cast into bronze so that materials once fragile are translated into metal. Each form becomes a distilled sculptural object and re-engages the dynamic conversation between art and craft, object and echo. Pieces are created through traditional and ancient techniques of bronze casting including work in lost wax and direct burnout with skillful hot patina finish to offer stunning color and surface.
