About the Festival

Every year, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival showcases more than 250 juried artists from around the world during a weekend jam-packed with food, music, kids’ activities, art, and more — all in the heart of Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood.

The festival is produced by CherryArts. CherryArts is a nonprofit whose mission is to provide access to art experiences and support arts education in Colorado, all year long.

The Cherry Creek Arts Festival offers a perfect opportunity to find inspiration, connect with others through art, and expand your worldview. Below are a few important highlights to look forward to and to note before you arrive:

  • Meet and mingle with 250 artists to learn about their process and purchase their original art.
  • Opening Night is on Wednesday, July 3.
  • Enjoy our Student Art Buying Showcase Friday, July 5 in the Room & Board parking lot. The event gives students from 24 Colorado schools the chance to purchase artwork for permanent display in their schools.
  • Attend the CCAF Art Auction, which benefits arts education and features donated art from 90 festival artists. The auction launches online on July 1, continues in person during the festival at the Art Auction Festival Lounge, and ends July 7.
  • Enjoy family-friendly activities at Creation Station.
  • Enjoy unique and tasty culinary delights from a variety of vendors.


Secure bike parking is available at the Bike Corral, located on 2nd Avenue near Adams Street and benefits wishforwheels.org.

Visit the RTD website and enter your destination as “Cherry Creek North Shopping Center, East 1st Ave., Denver” to find your best route.

The Cherry Creek Shopping Center offers $3 daytime parking and limited paid valet parking all weekend. There is no overnight parking at the center. Please observe all City of Denver parking signs throughout the festival. 

  • The following garages offer $7 parking during the festival to benefit CherryArts
  • Clayton Lane garage, 2nd Ave. and Columbine St.
    *Book your parking in advance for the Clayton Lane – West Garage (The passes will only work in the underground garage, only work for from 12am – 11:59pm the day that they are purchased, and only allow one entry and one exit).
  • Whole Foods garage, 2nd Ave. and University St.

Amenities & Policies

Take art home with you, and shop in the shade at the Festival Store presented by the Cherry Creek Shopping Center.  This year’s event will be cashless for all culinary, beverage, and merchandise booths. We will accept touchless pay and all major credit and debit cards.

Visit the Festival Store at Fillmore and 2nd Avenue or contact any CCAF staff or volunteer to help locate lost members of your party. The Festival Store at Fillmore and 2nd Avenue receives all lost and found items. After the Arts Festival, contact us at 303-355-2787.

First-aid service is available at 2nd and Milwaukee. Emergency transportation service is provided on-site.

Be kind to your pets — leave them at home when you visit the Arts Festival. The street pavement gets HOT, and bringing pets is highly discouraged for the safety of both animals and patrons alike. City regulations state that service dogs are allowed within the Arts Festival site.

For safety reasons, glass bottles are prohibited within the festival site. Revenue from on-site beverage sales helps allow the Arts Festival to remain an admission-free event. Proceeds also benefit our many non-profit partners. Permit regulations require that alcoholic beverages purchased at the event remain on-site. Arts Festival security will ask you to dispose of any alcoholic beverages before you exit or enter. CCAF promotes responsible consumption practices, so please don’t drink and drive. Use RTD, or let a taxi or car service be your designated driver.

For the safety and enjoyment of all festival attendees please observe the following rules. The Arts Festival reserves the right to decline admittance to anyone who violates the reasonable policies established for public safety. 

  • All bags, containers, and packages are subject to search by CCAF personnel. 
  • No outside alcohol is permitted and no alcohol from the site may be taken out. 
  • Smoking is not permitted inside any structure or in any seating area on the Arts Festival grounds. Marijuana use in public is illegal. 
  • Coolers, large signs, or placards which may endanger or inconvenience the public attending the Arts Festival, are prohibited. 
  • Bicycles cannot be ridden within the site and must be parked at our “Bike Corral” located at the north end of 2nd & Adams. 
  • The riding of skateboards or use of roller blades, roller shoes, scooters, or any rolling mechanisms within the site is prohibited and must be carried or parked at the “Bike Corral” located at 2nd & Adams. 
  • The “Free Speech” area is located on the east side of 1st & Fillmore, outside of the festival site. 
  • For all related dates and times, CCAF obtains a Street Occupancy Permit from the City and County of Denver and fully retains all rights and benefits thereto for public rights of way. 
  • No photos or videos of artwork without the attendant’s permission. 
  • No drones allowed.
