Join us for happy hour and hands-on art making experience at the lovely Room and Board rooftop led by the Cherry Creek Arts Festival poster artists Signe and Genna! During this workshop the Grushovenkos will demonstrate their signature layering process in a bite-sized version. Participants will be provided with a vibrant watercolor background on cold-pressed watercolor paper upon which they’ll build a figurative painting with acrylic paint. The Grushovenkos will supply images from their collection for reference. Techniques discussed will center on contour drawing and creating volume through value. No previous drawing or painting experience is required.
